Thanks for visiting my web site. Whilst I do my best to keep it up to date there never seems to be enough hours in a day to keep it as fresh as I would ideally like. But I do my best to put some new work on from time to time. So do pop back now and again and if you feel like giving me feedback then by all means make contact.
Having recently moved to the Netherlands I am now giving presentations to clubs here and in Belgium. Permajet have appointed me as their first European Lecturer so my talk shows a huge number of my prints, talks about why I choose certain papers and gives an overview of colour management. I consider myself to be a print worker and believe whole heartedly that to hold the final print in your hand is the ultimate respect for your work.
My move to Netherlands doesn't mean I have deserted the UK as I still have plenty of ties there and will be doing a lecture tour in the South West in February/March 2017. Fortunately the RPS Digital Imaging Group were also happy to still have me as their Chair, even though I had moved 'abroad'. I have also retained my membership of Dorchester Camera Club where I still compete. But using the internet means we all stay in touch and it seems to make little difference as I am happy to drive across for important events and meetings.
Having joined the RPS Benelux Chapter, a group of some 50+ members throughout Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, after twelve months I became their joint organiser. We have set up an RPS Study Group in Den Haag and have a winter project in 2016/17 to shoot a creative image in every street in Rotterdam. Some 4000+ of them. The Rockin' Rotterdam project will also involve the public. For more information go to www.rockinrotterdam.eu
Another new appointment for me since living the Netherlands is to be asked to be an Ambassador for Permajet - the UK manufacturer of high quality photo papers.
