Now I live in the Netherlands I am giving presentations to clubs here and in Belgium. Permajet have appointed me as their first European Lecturer so my talk shows a huge number of my prints, talks about why I choose certain papers. I consider myself to be a print worker and believe whole heartedly that to hold the final print in your hand is the ultimate respect for your work.
However living in the Netherlands doesn't mean I have deserted the UK as I still have plenty of ties there and give lectures there very regularly. Fortunately the RPS Digital Imaging Group were also happy to still have me as their Chair, even though I have moved 'abroad'. I have also retained my membership of Dorchester Camera Club where I still compete. But using the internet means we all stay in touch and it seems to make little difference as I am happy to drive across for important events and meetings.
Having joined the RPS Benelux Chapter, a group of some 50+ members throughout Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, after twelve months I became their joint organiser. We have set up an RPS Study Group in Rotterdam, besides the quarterly Chapter meetings.
